Jewellery spotted at the 2020 ARIA Awards

Proceeding in style despite the unprecedented conditions of 2020, the biggest night in the Australian music industry, the annual ARIA Awards, was held late last month.

In a year unlike any other, beloved Australian favourites and iconic international stars were able to make an appearance despite restrictions. Celebrating the industry milestones through the help of technology, many of the nominees and performers turned up to the award show virtually.

Although the crowd, along with several guests, made a virtual appearance, the 2020 ARIA Awards was still physically attended by local celebrities.

A red-carpet entrance was held for the guests that were physically there, with a few big names making an appearance.

For the guests who made it to The Star where the event was held, they left no disappointment by dressing glamorously. As guests dressed to impress, jewellery made a big appearance on the night.

To discover styles worn by those who attended, keep reading below.

      Delta Goodrem

Delta Goodrem, the host of the night, kept it simple and looked ravishing in her shining silver ensemble.

The Australian sweetheart kept her jewellery minimal. Tastefully matched with her silver-studded dress, her get-up is beautifully completed with an elegant diamond tennis necklace.

Looking for a piece that possesses the same sophistication as Goodrem’s necklace? Take a peek at our array of diamond tennis bracelets.

These bracelets are incredibly practical and easily matched. Tennis bracelets make a versatile choice that could even pass as bridal jewellery. Understated and dazzling, you’ll easily find the essence of Goodrem’s jewellery choice in these designs.

      Amy Shark

Winning two awards on the night, including Best Pop Release, Amy Shark made an entrance on the red carpet with a dark blue velvet minidress ensemble. Shark went for an edgy chic look and paired her long-sleeve dress with black biker boots, completed with understated jewellery accessories.

The pop singer only incorporated a subtle hint of jewellery to her style. Still, she rocked a simple pendant necklace with a stylish watch adorned on her wrist.

Pendant necklaces are incredibly stylish without being too flashy. They are a great way to add a slight sparkle to any outfit.

Our South Sea Pearl and Diamond Flower Necklace is an exemplary piece, possessing the same simplicity as Shark’s necklace. This pendant design is short and sweet with a single pearl complemented by a small diamond feature.

Pendants are a great way to break up an outfit without going overboard. They can make a significant subtle difference to any look.

      Jessica Mauboy

Hitting the red carpet in a leopard print design, Jessica Mauboy kept it minimal when it came to her accessories. The singing sensation let her print dress shine with little interference from other pieces – save only for a chunky gold-brass bracelet as her focal jewellery point.

Once strategically styled, bracelets can add a large amount of character without clashing too much. A piece that holds a significant size similar to Mauboy’s bracelet is our Diamond Vine Garden.

Made with careful craftsmanship, this bracelet is a gorgeous example of our Midas Jeweller’s skills. This bracelet showcases a bundle of vines, creating an elegant yet chunky piece that, like Mauboy’s, will add character to any ensemble.
